Giantslayer Studios produces its own short films. In 2021 we made Troll Girl – an 8-minute 2D Blender animated short.
Currently, we’re working on a new South African-based story called Trekker Zombies!
Troll Girl
‘Troll Girl’ is an 8-minute short film created in five months in 2021 with a small, entirely South African team, and funding help from the National Film and Video Foundation and Triggerfish Animation Studios. We used Blender Grease Pencil for the animation and Photoshop and After Effects for the backgrounds and compositing.
