I’ve been working with the NFVF to develop an 8.5-minute animatic over the last 24 months, and✨ she’s finally ready! ✨
I’m already roughing shots, and I’ve been experimenting with programmes since the animatic wrapped up: Moho, Blender, Rough Animator (which is such a banger app, by the way). I think I’m going to rely on old-faithful Blender Grease Pencil in the end, and I’ve already had a lot of fun roughing the shots in Rough Animator.
I’ve also made myself a super basic little Google Sheet to track progress.
There’s still so much to do! I’ve got to R&D a style, test colouring processes so I don’t lose my mind colouring the whole thing, start an instagram for the film and apply for production funding.
